After all this time, I finally noticed the second drain bolt just to the left of the oil drain plug. What does that plug hold? I assume the filler hole is the cap on top of the left side engine case? There was no mention of this in my manual

Don't Touch it! That isn't a Drain Bolt.
The bolt holds the Spring & Tensioner for the cam chain. _________________ Thanks, Bruce @

Whew! That was close! Another hour or so and I would have unscrewed it out of curiousity! My manual is for the 70cc, not the 110 so there was no mention of this. Why is there a screw on cap on the left side of the motor?By the way , my stock shocks are still available for sale.

TR
They don't mention it in any of the books so it's left alone. Even in a "Honda" owners manual it's not mentioned. I know, I have them for most of the smaller Vintage Honda's I own. Everyone that buys a vehicle from me I tell them "Leave it Alone"... 50cc-140cc horizontal engine cases are almost all the same.
Pros or Cons, either way "Curiosity Kills The Cat" if you know what I mean
Why is there a screw on cap on the left side of the motor?
Left side as your sitting on it? What cap?
I left the post for your Shocks. _________________ Thanks, Bruce @

If you are sitting on the bike and you look down to your left on top of the left case, there is a slotted cap that looks like a fill hole of some sort.I was wondering what that was for.

That is the hole that you use when you are setting the timing marks. It is just an inspection hole. No need to be tinkering with it.
